Rites Read Here Wednesday For Isaac E. Graham
Funeral services for Crosby County pioneer Isaac E. Graham, 87, were held at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Primitive Baptist Church with L. M. Handley officiating.
Graham died about 4 p.m. Tuesday in a Lubbock nursing home. Burial was in Crosbyton cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
A native of Coryell County, he moved to Crosby County in 1914 and farmed for many years in the Mt. Blanco community.
In 1944 he moved to Portales, N.M., where he spent 16 years in the public school system. He returned to Crosbyton in 1970.
He is survived by a son, Arles Graham of Crsobyton; two daughters, Mrs. J. W. McDermett of Morton and Mrs. Deon Awtrey of Friona; a sister, Mrs. Nancy Howard of Hasekll; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tillman Reeves, Griffin Odom, Don McDermett, Arles Graham, Jr., Ron Awtrey and Dennis Graham.
