Rites to the memory of Mrs. Daisy Morrow Flournoy, 89, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the King Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ernest Stewart Jr., pastor of First Baptist Church, conducted.

Burial was made in Crosbyton Cemetery.

Mrs. Flournoy succumbed at 11:45 a.m. last Wednesday in the Crosbyton Nursing Home at age 89.

She had resided in the home since August 6.

In 1925 she was married to E.H. Flournoy Sr. and moved to Crosbyton. The couple made their home here until 1951 when they moved to Chireno. Mrs. Flournoy went to Wichita Falls to live with a brother after the death of her husband in May 1968.

The former Daisy Morrow was born July 27, 1884, in Coffman County. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include: five stepsons, M.M. Flournoy of Huntington, Keith Flournoy of Liberty, J.C. and E. H. Flournoy Jr. of Crosbyton, and J.B. Flournoy of Lubbock; two stepdaughters, Mrs. J.W. Robbins of Liberty and Mrs. C.E. Massey of Lufkin; one brother, R.M. Morrow of Wichita Falls; 16 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
