Final Rites For Keith Ellison, 31, Held Wednesday

Keith Ellison, 31, finally succumbed at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday to the wasting illness against which he had fought for the past several months. He had been rushed back to Crosbyton Clinic Hospital the previous night.

Services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Crosbyton Church of Christ. Cline Drake, former minister of the church, officiated wit Thomas Compton present minister, assisting.

A native of Crosby county and graduate of Crosbyton High School, Ellison had farmed south of town for the past several years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include: his wife, Jo; two sons, John Keith, James Kris; two daughters, Joanie Karol and Jill K´Lynn; his mother, Mrs. R. C. Ellison; five brothers, Deward, Ernest, Lonnie, Crosbyton; Homer, Ralls, R.C. Jr., New Deal; four sisters, Mrs. Carl Holcomb, Mrs. W. W. Robertson, Crosbyton; Mrs. D.K. Stevens, Ralls; Mrs. Raymond Tillson, Amarillo.

Pallbearers were Dee Cash, Ross Cash, C.D. Cash, Billy Bob Wright, Charlie Wheeler, Buster Reed.

Burial was in Crosbyton cemetery. King Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
