CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Lonnie Lee Ellis, 78, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Crosbyton with the Rev. Bobby Rine officiating and Jim York, pastor of Crosbyton Church of Christ, assisting.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday at the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born Aug. 16, 1905, in Georgetown, he married Ethra Mae Wallace in Crosbyton July 18, 1929.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Crosbyton First Baptist Church. He lived in Crosbyton the last 62 years of his life.

Survivors include his wife; a son, William of Crosbyton; a daughter, Dorothy Green of Lubbock; a brother, Robert of Dimmitt; three sisters, Dellie Stokes of Prairie Grove, Ark., Ella Mae Steakley of San Angelo and Mabel Cude of Brady; 14 grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

Two sons, Roy Lee and Orvin Gene, preceded him in death.
