U.S.Flag Graveside services for Stanley "Chick" Edwards, 90, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Mar. 18, 2002, at Crosbyton Cemetery with Tom Taylor officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

He died Saturday, March 16, 2002, at Floydada Rehabilitation & Care Center.

He was born May 14, 1911, in Speedwell, Tenn. He married Georgia Boyd on June 23, 1955, in Clovis, N.M. She died Nov. 21, 1998.

He was a member of the Crosbyton Primitive Baptist Church.

He was a trucker and moved to Crosbyton in 1916 from Tennessee.

Survivors include three daughters, Glenda Kemp of Floydada, Donna Fowler of Fort Worth and Reba Sageser of Reedsburg, Wis.; a brother, Zola Edwards of Victoria; three sisters, Stella Miller of Engleside, Alene Fain of Victoria and Florice Nicholson of Paris; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
