CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Florence Myrtle Terry Edwards, 92, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Crosbyton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Woodward, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died Saturday, Oct. 7, 1995, in North Bay Medical Facility in Fairfield, Calif.

She was born July 20, 1903, in Coryell County. She married David Allison Edwards on Sept. 1, 1925, in Lometa. He died Oct. 19, 1978. She attended the College of Industrial Arts and North Texas State University. She received a master´s degree from Texas Tech University. She was a member of Crosbyton First United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She moved to Crosbyton from O´Donnell in 1931, and she was a member of the Crosbyton Eastern Star for over 50 years.

She taught school in O´Donnell and Crosbyton.

Survivors include a son, Terry of Las Cruces, N.M.; a daughter, Laura Dickinson of Vacaville, Calif.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Cornelius, Compton Cornelius, C.D. Cash, J.W. Jackson, Lee Suther and Jacky Dewbre.

The family suggests memorials to Crosbyton Fist United Methodist Church.
