CROSBYTON (Special) Services for Esther Edwards, 95, of Nocona and formerly of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester Griffin, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be at Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

She died Sunday, July 30, 2000, at Horizon Manor Nursing Home in Nocona.

She was born July 11, 1905, in Overton County, Tenn. She married Jimmy Edwards on Dec. 29, 1927, in Lubbock. He died May 1, 1985. She was a member of Crosbyton First Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She attended high school in Floydada. She was a homemaker and had lived in Crosbyton most of her life.

Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Edwards of Lubbock; two brothers, T.B. Morgan of Nocona and J.P. Morgan of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sisters, Connie Miller of St. Jo, Minnie Ivins of Merced, Calif., and Mattie Dean Cox of Altus, Okla.; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.
