CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Earl Edler, 68, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Crosbyton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Johnnie Williams, pastor, and Loyd Hall, minister of the Church of Christ here, officiating.

Burial will follow in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Edler died at 6:30 a.m. in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a short illness.

The native of Mount Hope, Kan., moved to Crosbyton in 1913 from Kansas. He was a retired farmer and a member of the First United Methodist Church here and the church´s administrative board. He married Bobbie Biggs May 27, 1977, in Crosbyton.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Conny Martin of Keller; a stepson, Malcolm Moseley of Slaton; two stepdaughters, Francelle Greer of the home and Janis Forhand of Jackson, Miss.; two brothers, J.F. of Lubbock and Don of Perryton; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Mullins of San Angelo, Mrs. Kathryn Shipman of Lubbock, and Alverta Edler and Mrs. Lula Matthews, both of Crosbyton and three grandchildren.
