CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Pelham C. "Jake" Donathan, 65, of Crosbyton, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church here.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home here.
Donathan died Monday evening in High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo of injuries he received in a recent car accident in Memphis.
He came to Crosbyton in 1948 from Spur. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a native of Leakey.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie; four sons, Tommy of Lubbock, Wayne of Ralls, Robert A. of Crosbyton; and Cecil of Dallas; two brothers, L.S. of Lovington, N.M., and Thomas of Woodland Hills, Calif.; eight sisters, Mrs. Lorna Arent of Winston, Calif., Mrs. Emma Segars of Westminister, Calif., Mrs. Norma Ludike of Lancaster, Calif., Mrs. Margaret Roberts of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Bernice Griffith of Idalou, Mrs. Ruth Kelley of Rowlett, Mrs. Madge Patton of Brownfield and Mrs. Helen Buckley of Las Vegas, Nev.; 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
