Funeral rites for Frank Dobson, 68, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in King Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Crouch, First United Methodist Church pastor, officiating.
Dobson died about 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Crosbyton hospital following an apparent heart attack.
Burial was in Crosbyton cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
Dobson was a native of Wise County and moved here in 1937. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; a son, Wayne of Fort Stockton; six daughters, Mrs. Marie Stanton of New Castle, Mrs. Eva Cody of Muleshoe, Mrs. Melba Hickman of Hereford, Mrs. Darlene Bick of Floydada, Mrs. Frankie Dewbre and Mrs. Jerry Fair, both of Lubbock; three stepsons, Louis Stewart of Lubbock, Melvin Stewart of Plains and Ray Stewart of Woodson; a step-daughter, Mrs. Gladys Thompson of Irving; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Garrard of Wichita Falls and Mrs. Doretha Lovell of Henrietta; and 31 grandchildren.
