Odie Lee Campbell, a Crosbyton resident virtually all her life, was claimed by death at 12:25 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a prolonged illness.
Mrs. Campbell was 80.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Crosbyton Cemetery. Carrol Robertson, a local Church of Christ minister, officiated.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Haskell County. She and Oscar F. Campbell were married in 1923 in Crosbyton.
Survivors include her husband; five sons, Garland Campbell and Bob Campbell, both of Lubbock; O.F. Campbell Jr. of Roswell, N.M., Jack Dale Campbell of San Angelo and Bill Campbell of White River Lake; a sister, Joey Blunt of Alamogardo, N.M.; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

CROSBYTON (Special) Graveside services for Oscar F. Campbell, 87, of Crosbyton will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Crosbyton Cemetery with Carrol Robertson, a Church of Christ minister officiating.
Burial will be under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
He died at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Crosbyton Care Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Taylor County. He married Odie Lee Helton on June 23, 1923, in Crosbyton. She died in 1985. He was a retired farmer. He was a Kalgary school bus driver and the Crosbyton senior citizens school bus driver for several years. He had lived in the Crosbyton area since 1923. A daughter, Wanda Pierce, died in 1972.
Survivors include five sons, Garland of Lubbock, Bob of Denton, O.F. Jr. of Roswell, N.M., Jack Dale of San Angelo and Bill of White River Lake; a sister, Winnie Mitchell of Midfield; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
