CROSBYTON (Special) Services for LaFreda Raye Campbell, 66, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Ramsey, pastor.
Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Nocona and had lived in the Crosbyton area most of her life. She married Rhea Campbell on May 25, 1940, in Lubbock. They owned Campbell Dry Goods until 1970. She was a housewife and a Methodist.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sharon Schuler of Lubbock and Vickie Arrington of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Karr, Jimmy Dunn, John Pinkston, Kenneth Witt, Gene Pierce and Harry Jung.

Graveside services for Rhea Campbell, 88, of Lubbock will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the Crosbyton Cemetery with Rev. Mark Paul officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Rhea passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at University Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born September 26, 1919 in Itasca in Hill County, Texas to the late J. M. and Lena (Rhea) Campbell. On May 25, 1940 he married LaFreda Raye Benton in Lubbock. She preceded him in death on April 10, 1988.
He owned and operated Campbell Dry Goods in Crosbyton for 30 years. Rhea served for 25 years as chief of the Crosbyton Volunteer Fire Department and served for 12 years as Commander of the Crosbyton American Legion. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Seabee unit of the US Navy.
He is preceded in death by two brothers; Clay and Johnny and three sisters; Neva Fralin, Vivian Buckley and Lucille Davis.
Survivors include; two daughters; Sharon Schuler and Vicki Arrington both of Lubbock, four grandchildren; Jim Pierce, Carolyn Bowren, Teri Maxson and Kenneth Kendrick, six great grandchildren; Lauren Pierce, Lee Pierce, Kate James, Tyler James, Rylie Forbes and Michael Maxson.
