Obituary

Rites to the memory of William A. Anthony were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 24, in the First Baptist Church chapel. Officiating was the Rev. Johnnie Williams, pastor of First United Methodist Church.

Burial was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mr. Anthony, 66, was claimed by death about 10:30 .m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. He had suffered a long illness.

Mr. Anthony had resided in Crosbyton Care Center since 1969.

A Temple native, Anthony moved in 1927 to West Texas. He was a retired farm laborer.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
