RALLS (Special) Services for Grace Shurbet, 82, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Ralls First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Roy Eason, pastor, and the Rev. Vance Mitchell, pastor of Floydada First Assembly of God Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Cone Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
She died Thursday, April 2, 1998, in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital.
She was born Aug. 12, 1915, in Lamar County. She moved to Ralls from Lamar County in October 1924. She married Lilburn Shurbet on Jan. 4, 1936, in Ralls. She was a member of Ralls First Assembly of God Church.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; a son, James of Petersburg; a sister, Emogene Allison of Ralls; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services for Lilburn Shurbet, 86, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Apr. 2, 1999, at Cone Cemetery with Wayne Hollinshead officiating.
Burial was in Cone Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
He died Tuesday, Mar. 30, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born Oct. 26, 1914, in Love County, OK. He married Grace Patterson on Jan. 4, 1936 in Ralls. She died Apr. 2, 1998.
He moved to the Ralls area in a covered wagon at the age of 14. He worked for the Texas Highway Department for 33 years.
Survivors include: one son, James Shurbet of Petersburg; four grandchildren, Russ Shurbet, Todd Shurbet, Mike Shurbet and Stephanie Matthews, and seven great grandchildren.
