Services for W.D. "Pat" Patterson, 68, of Idalou and formerly of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 1990, in First Baptist Church of Idalou with the Rev. Rusty Canoy, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Cone Cemetery under direction of White Funeral Home in Idalou.
He died at 3:57 p.m. Wednesday in Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Brookston and attended school in Cone. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He married Eunice Dear Dec. 11, 1965, in Ralls. The family moved to Idalou from Ralls in 1965. He was a member of the Prairie Dog Good Sams, the Travel Trailer Club and the First Baptist Church in Idalou. He was a retired truck driver and farmer.
Survivors include his wife; a stepson, David Dear of Macon, GA; two sisters, Grace Shurbet and Emmogene Allison, both of Ralls; and two granddaughters.
