RALLS (Special) — Services for Hervie Leo Williams, 78, of Lubbock will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Lorenzo Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Chatham of Lubbock officiating.

Burial will be in Lorenzo Mount Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday in Lubbock St. Mary Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Boyle, Miss., and moved to Lubbock in 1983 from Chicago, Ill. He was a butcher. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Hervie Jr. of Chicago, Ill., and John Earl of Kalamazoo, Mich.; a daughter, Ella Goldsmith of Lubbock; a sister; four grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
