LORENZO (Special) - Graveside services for Gertrude Williams, 84, of Lorenzo were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 1997 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo. The Rev. Charles Hankston, pastor, of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lorenzo, officiating.

Miss Williams died at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1997, in Crosbyton Care Center after an illness..

She was born Feb. 5, 1913. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She moved to Lorenzo in 1937.
