Obituary

Ella Goldsmith Services for Ella Goldsmith, 70, of Lubbock will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Lorenzo with the Rev. Charles Hankson officiating.

Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Ossie Curry Funeral Home in Lubbock.

She died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002.

She was born June 14, 1932, in Biloxi, Miss. She married T.J. Goldsmith on July 12, 1952, in Detroit, Mich. He died May 30, 1990. She attended schools in Mississippi. She worked for Goodwill Industries and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, where she was an usher.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ivory and Aaron.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet Williams and Dora Harber, both of Detroit; a son, Lucious Weatherspoon of Beaumont; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
