Services for Wanda Kay Anderson, 47, of Lubbock were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2003 at Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Chatham officiating and the Rev. Ramon Roberts assisting.
Burial was in West Side Cemetery in Lorenzo under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Lorenzo.
She died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at her home in Lubbock.
She was born Jan. 4, 1956, in Crosbyton.
She married Alfred Ray Anderson in Lorenzo. She attended Lorenzo schools. She worked for Texas Instruments in Lubbock and Motel 6, also in Lubbock. She moved to Lubbock in 1975 from Lorenzo.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Lawson in 1994 and King John Lawson in 2001.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred Ray Anderson of Lorenzo; her mother, Frankie Fennell of Lubbock; two daughters, Monica and Marlana Anderson, both of Lubbock; five brothers, Bobby Ray, Darrell and Tommy Lawson, all of Lubbock, Billy Rae Lawson of Dalhart and Richard Lawson of Amarillo; three sisters, Betty Anderson, Susie Lawson and Evelyn Lawson, all of Lubbock; and four grandchildren.

Services for Alfred Ray Anderson, 54, of Lorenzo will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 13, 2005 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lorenzo with Rev. Charles Hankson officiating. Burial will follow in the West Side Cemetery in Lorenzo under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
Mr. Anderson passed away Friday, October 7, 2005 in Lubbock's Covenant Medical Center. He was born December 2, 1950 in Crosbyton, Texas to Albert, Jr. and Jean (Hall) Anderson, who preceded him in death. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lorenzo and had attended high school in Lockney. He had lived in the Lorenzo area most of his life and worked for the Farmers Co-Op Compress.
Survivors include his fiance, Carla Gonzales of Lorenzo, 3 daughters; Marlana Anderson, Monica Anderson and Rhonda Anderson, all of Lubbock, his step-father Vernon Hall of Lamesa and 5 grandchildren.
