Brothers/Spring Grove Cemetery

This cemetery is in the northeast part of Cooke County, north of Hwy. 82, near the old Spring Grove School. It is on land now owned by Ervid Erlandson. Originally, the land belonged to Edward Brothers, who came from Virginia to Cooke County in 1860. He settled near the spring on the creek east of the school. The town was originally Brothers Springs. The informant for this cemetery was Burny Almon, and it was recorded in 1979 by Sue Wood.
