Marion A. Hurt Buried Tuesday
Paint Rock Man Died Here Monday Night

PAINT ROCK, June 9.- Funeral services for Marion A. Hurt 53, who died at a hospital in San Angelo at 11:30 o'clock Monday night, were conducted from the Baptist Church this afternoon with the Rev. L. D. Hardt officiating.
    Mr. Hart had lived in Paint Rock for more that 25 years. He was born June 10, 1878, in Lamar County and would have been 53 years old Wednesday. he moved with his family to Kerrville at the age of 12 and later moved to Llano County, He came to Concho County between 27 and 30 years ago and had lived here since. He had been a member of the Baptist Church since childhood.
    Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. R. M. Williams of Long Beach, Cal., Mrs. Homer Dalton of Millersview and Mrs. Jay Shugart of Mankins, Texas, and one brother, Joe Hurt of Paint Rock. Mr. Hurt had been in ill health for several years and had been in San Angelo for the last two weeks.
