Cook Cemetery is located 4.9 miles east of Alto on SH 21, then 2.6 miles north on 2501, at the end of CR 2526.

Cook Cemetery - This family cemetery was established by the Shelby H. Cook family in 1857. (See family pages for more information about the family.)   The Cook family descendants meet semi-annually to maintain and beautify this site. Texas Historical Commission Marker
