JEFF PARSONS JEFF PARSONSFuneral for Jeff Parsons, 43, of Rusk was at 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. R.S. Dyess, Rev. Don Copeland and Rev. Mike Bradford officiating. Burial was in Lowes Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Wallace- Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk.

Mr. Parsons died March 1. He was born March 13, 1966, in Rusk. He was a lifelong Rusk resident and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He was a dairyman and correctional officer.

Survivors are his wife Davita Dover Parsons of Rusk; two step-daughters, Amber Garner and her children, Shayna and Angel (Bubba) Garner of Jacksonville and Brittiney Garner and her children, Makayla, Makeyln and Makenzie Garner; father, Bobby Jack Parsons of Rusk; mother and step-father, Patricia and Don Riley of Grand Prairie; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Vonda and Tommy Dosser and Jennifer and Cole Emerson, all of Rusk; brother and sister-in-law, Robbie Jack and Karen Parsons of Rusk; nephews, Josh Parsons, Mason Couch and Hayden Helm; nieces, Mindi Wallace, Misti Couch, Mandi Flatness, Sarah Clayton, Katie Cheadle, Harley Helm, Annie Adams, Abby Adams and Leighanna Emerson; numerous greatnieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers were Dale Dover, James Perkins, Dakota Dover, Mason Couch, Rodney Hudson and Josh Parsons. Honorary pallbearers were Brad Black, David Mason, Kenley Dover and Jerry Sowell.
