I am looking for information about Alexander Washington MC GREGOR who lived in Amarillo, Tx from 1887 - 1891. He and his wife Indiana JOHNSON had several children born during that time period. He left Amarillo in order to go on the "Oklahoma Land Rush" of 1891 and obtained land in El Reno, Ok. Would appreciate any information on Alexander or his family.

I am researching a 5th cousin Ira ATEN, first name I believe was Austin. He was a Texas Ranger from March of 1883 until Oct. of 1889.
