CAMP COUNTY - MAPLE SPRINGS CEMETERY THE PARIS NEWS, Aug 8, 2011, page 3. - PITTSBURG - Wade Schane, 42, of Pittsburg, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family, Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, after fighting a courageous battle with brain cancer for six years. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, in Pittsburg, with Bros. Richard Heyduck and Kyle Smith officiating. Interment is to be at Maple Springs Cemetery. The family receives friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Erman Smith Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. He worked at Pittsburg Tractor for 22 years and was an active member at First United Methodist Church, in Pittsburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Buffy Cook Schane; and father, Kenneth Schane. He is survived by his mother, Geneva Chance, of Pittsburg; daughters, Makayla Morgan, Madalyn Morgan and Mia Schane, all of Pittsburg; and sisters, Diana and Steve Jensen, of Forney, Jan and Roger Curlin, of Mansfield and Kenya and Matt Edzards, of Paris. Pallbearers are Dustin Reynolds, Mark Lawrence, Todd Diviney, John McWhorter, Wayne Prince and Stephen Green. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Shrum, Larry Hopkins, Don Huskey, Ronnie Anderson, J.R. Brenham and Pittsburg Tractor co-workers.
