NEW MINE CEMETERY - CAMP COUNTY Sep. 26, 1863 - Oct. 13, 1963 Mrs. Eunice Leavia Quillin, who moved to Texas in 1889, died at the age of 100. Mrs. Quillin celebrated her 100th birthday Sept. 16. Born in Inidiana, to John Sanders and Mary Way, she went with her family in a covered wagon to Springdale, Ark. in 1873 where she was married to James M. Quillin in 1880. When they came to Texas, they first lived in Dallas, then a young city with mule-drawn street cars. After living in Hill County where her husband was a teacher they moved to Camp County where Mr. Quillin was a farmer until his death in 1930. Only one of her four sons, J. Press Quillin, 82, who made his home with her, survives. Other survivors include a sister in Arkansas, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
