PITTSBURG - Services for James Crim Patterson, 87, of Pittsburg, will 
be 2 p.m. today, April 4, 2009, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in 
Pittsburg, with the Rev. Tim Parker and the Rev. Kyle Smith officiating. 
Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Arrangements are by Erman Smith 
Funeral Home. Mr. Patterson died April 2, 2009, in Pittsburg.

Born May 14, 1921, in Ashland, Georgia, he was a member of the New Mine 
Baptist Church. He served in the Army and received a purple heart and 
bronze stars. 

Survivors include his sons, James Keith Patterson, Harold Wayne Patterson 
and Jerry Doyle Patterson; and sister, Thelma Taylor and Lillian Pruden.
