PITTSBURG – Theresa Mae Freeman, 63, died Monday, August 15, 2011 in Lewisville. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. B.R. Hargest officiating. Interment will follow in West Chapel Cemetery in Leesburg. Pallbearers are Noble Walker, Alton Hashaway, Clarence Robinson, Johnny Hashaway, Marcell Henry, and Charles Dean. Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Martin, Tristian Farley, Joshua Bailey, Jamal Freeman, Christopher Bailey, Quentin Freeman, Darrell Freeman Jr., Tahje Canyon, and Markel Collins.

Mrs. Freeman was born October 7, 1947 in Leesburg to Eunice Canyon and Lavell Canyon.

She is survived by three daughters, Ferrie Jones of Pittsburg, Sylvia Newby of Lewisville, Unita Bailey of Ft. Hood; a son, Darrell Freeman of Longview; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Delores James of Dallas, and Charlene Irvin of Leesburg; a brother, James Isaac of Dallas; three sisters-in-law, Mary Williams of Red Oak, Jerrie Moton of DeSoto, Diana Hurndon of Pittsburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Freeman; and her parents.
