CAMP COUNTY - CREMATION


Bobby Foster was born in Brumley and raised in Upshur County. He served in the Army in Korea for eight years before returning stateside. There he met and married Billie Ruth Wheeler and together they raised five children. Bob enjoyed raising horses, was an avid ham radio operator and loved dogs.

Survivors include wife: Mary Foster; daughter: Sarah Kaye Davis and husband Paul of Martinsburg, W.V.; sons: Robert Foster and wife Tricia of Omaha, TX, and Raymond Wheeler and wife Brenda of Canton, TX, step-daughter Judy Dugas, thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gid Foster, J.R. Foster, Calvin Foster, siters Jennie Mae Harris, Burta Tucker, and Billie Jo Colby, wife Billie Ruth Foster, daughter Ruth Ann Foster and son Eddie Simpkins.

A visitation with family present will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Erman Smith Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
