Fletcher, Melba Woods GILMER -- Services for Melba Woods Fletcher, 78, of Gilmer, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, with the Rev. Jeff Bauman and the Rev. Cleatus Speed officiating. Burial will be in Mattinburg Cemetery in Camp County. Mrs. Fletcher passed away Saturday, January 28, 2006, at her residence. Mrs. Fletcher was born April 10, 1927, in Pine, Texas, to Walter and Mattie Keel. She was a retired office manager for Smithhart Builders and a member of the Pritchett Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her husband, Howard Fletcher of Gilmer; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry Franklin and Janet Woods of Gladewater; daughter, Deborah Woods Marshall of Plantation, Florida; brothers, Travis Keel of Tyler, and J.W. Keel of Ector, Texas; sister, Marie Davis of Seven Points, Texas; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ruben F. Woods. Pallbearers will be J.C. Johns, Clint Tomlin, Tim Anderson, Wes Spangler, Rex Nolan and Tommy Gage. Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett Gage, James Ray Keel, Todd Keel, Jeff McCullough, Eric Taylor and Michael Wynn.
