CAMP COUNTY - CROSS ROADS CEMETERY Sybil Elwanda Biggs, 91, of Pittsburg died Sunday, September 30, 2012. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Erman Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Packer officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Jason Biggs, Bubba Whilley, Kenneth Smith, Cameron Whilley, Stephen Pollard, and Richard Pollard. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Massey, Dale Massey, Turner Smith, Gary Hawkins, and Billy Finnell. Mrs. Biggs was born May 20, 1921 in Gilmer to W.O. Pollard and Emma Wilson Pollard. She was a member of First Baptist Church and in the choir 62 years. She was a member of the Silver Thread Band and played with the Picking and Grinning Group at the senior citizens building. She was an avid baker of pies and cakes for functions with her church and friends and volunteered her services for many groups and functions. She is survived by her son, Ronald and Dianna Biggs of Tyler; daughter, Elwanda and Robert White of Rockwall; daughter-in-law, Betty Biggs of Pittsburg; three grandchildren, Jason Biggs, Bubba Whilley, and Jennifer Schmidt; and sister, Valona Walker of Corpus Christi. She is preceded in death by her husband; son, Lyndall Biggs; parents; and six brothers and sisters.
