Lula May Buehring Wolff
Lula May Wolff, 83, of Beeville, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002.

She was born May 4, 1919 to the late Louis Henry and Clara Stroh Buehring. She was married to the late Horace M. Wolff.

She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 38 years, receiving many awards for excellence and attendance. She retired as a plant assigner after working in the positions of operator, service assistant and local manual observer in Beeville, Cuero and Corpus Christi.

She was a charter member of Cuero Pilot Club and Cuero Nurses Auxiliary. She was a member of Southwestern Bell Pioneers and served the San Antonio Council as secretary and treasurer.

Survivors include sisters Elnora Erler of Beeville and Mary Ann Studemann of Oklahoma; brothers Hilbert Buehring of Karnes City, Henry Buehring of Victoria, Leo Buehring of Runge, Monroe Buehring of Lynnwood, Wash., Albert Buehring of San Antonio, Normie Buehring of Tupelo, Miss and Werner Buehring of Giddings; nephew Eddie Buehring of Port Lavaca and nieces Janice Bordonsky and Shirley Dionne, both of Port Lavaca.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lillie Buehring and brothers Louis Buehring Jr., Edgar Buehring, Eldor Buehring, Elmore Buehring, Harold Buehring, Hugo Buehring, Marvin Buehring and Allen Buehring.

Visitation is at the Galloway and Sons Funeral Directors chapel until 9 p.m. Friday night. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church with the Revs. Jeff Thompson and Don Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
