Glenvoir Dist. ~ Cira 1910
Some areas of Caldwell
County, while significantly populated, never had a declared town with
businesses, church, post office, etc. However, the need to provide education for
the children of the area meant that schools were required and the County
developed districts to provide that service. One such area was Glenvoir, located
between Lockhart and Maxwell.
