DEATH TAKES W. A. ROSS IN BURNET
William Alfred Ross, 81, one of the two Spanish-American War veterans in Burnet County, died Thursday at his home.
Ross is survived by his widow; two sons, Charley Ross of Burnet and J. W. Ross of Austin; three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Irvin, Mrs. Herman Crawford and Mrs. Franklin Ellett, all of Burnet; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Clements Funeral Home with Minister L. V. Nobles officiating. Burial will be in Burnet Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
