He married Sarah Ann Patterson 04 Dec 1820 in Franklin County, Kentucky (Source: Marriage Records, Franklin Co. KY.), daughter of James Patterson. She was born 06 Sep 1805 in Virginia, and died 08 Dec 1878 in Williamson Co., Texas (Source: Pictures of Tombstone.). Both Thomas Henry Noble and his wife, Sarah Ann are buried in Joy Cemetery in Burnet County.

Thomas Henry Noble was the son of William Noble and Hannah Minor. He was born 29 May 1799 in Kentucky and married Sarah Ann Patterson in Franklin County. Thomas had been a horse breeder in Kentucky, and he and his sons continued this work in Texas. Their first land grant in the Republic of Texas was near Paris. Later they received land grants in Victoria and Goliad Counties, but finally settled in Burnet County. In Burnet County the Nobles raised quality horses (roans with white manes and tails) some to be sold to the government for cavalry use. They were prosperous but lost a large number of livestock to Indian raids.
