Bertha Tom Dunaway, 96 of Burnet died
March 2, 1999.
She was born July 1, 1902 in Marble Falls to
Carl and Josephine (Britt) Jay.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of
Burnet.
Preceding her in death were her husband
Dockie; son Dorman Dunaway; grandson
Richard Dunaway and sisters Nina Smith,
Ada Mae Zimmerman, and Katheryn Moore.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law
Laverne Dunaway of Buffalo; grandchildren
Dorman Dunaway Jr. of Long Beach, Calif. and
Kay Rodell of Buffalo; and great
grandchildren Chad Morris of Long Beach,
Shannon Wofford of Boise, Idaho;
Katelyn Rodell of Buffalo; Joseph
Rodell of Tyler, and Krista Ingram of
Dallas.
Graveside services were March 5 at the Fairland
Cemetery with Gordon Edwards officiating.
