No sadder day ever came to the hearts of the parents of little Myrtle Dodgin in their far off home in Mexico.  They had been there but a short time when little Myrtle,  the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. D. Dodgen was suddenly taken away from them by death.

Little Myrtle was born Aug 7th, 1896, and died Aug 25th 1899, which made her a little over three years of age.
