The Baptist Church of Christ at Love Creek

Constitution of Church

      Sundry Brethren and Sisters living in the neighborhood of Love Creek, Burnet Co., Texas,  holding letters and other evidence of Church membership; having intimated to us their desire to be organized into a Church of Christ, to keep the Ordinances as they have been delivered by our Devine Master; we did, after examining their respective claims to membership, recognize them as fit subjects for a Gospel Church, and in testimony of the same extended to them the right hand of Church Fellowship and recognition; their basis of organization resting upon the New Testament “Scriptures” as construed by the Articles of Faith of the Austin Association, as recorded in this book.

Minutes of Organization

1st At the time of the organization by the Presbytery, and before dismission the church sit in conference and transacted, the following business to wit: On motion the church was named, “The Baptist Church of Christ” at Love Creek.

      There being no other business, on motion, conference adjourned.
