New Search Tool!

The TXGenWeb Project now has an even better research tool!  Researchers can now search all counties in Texas under the TXGenWeb Project for ancestors, records, etc. with just one search!

To check out the new search tool, please click here.  The USGenWeb Project has a new search tool as well that covers all states and counties in the USGenWeb Project.  So, instead of searching state by state and county by county, you can now take advantage of this new search tool to find out exactly what you are looking for instead of searching where you think you may find an ancestor - now that is convenient!  To search the entire USGenWeb Project, and this search will be under the TXGenWeb Search; also you can search by surname by scrolling to the bottom of the page from the link above.

Genealogical Seminars, Reunions & Cemetery Meetings

Do you have a genealogical seminar, reunion or cemetery meeting coming up?  Well, why not let everyone know about it!  Spread the word with the TXGenWeb Project.  This is a great tool to announce special events and it is a one-stop source to keep everyone informed!

Just email Elaine Martin, Assistant TXGenWeb State Coordinator, with the details and she can add the information to let everyone know.
When contacting Elaine, include the following:  name of the meeting type, where the event is held (include what county, too!), when it will be held and if this event is an annual event or one-time event.  Also, include Seminars & Events in Texas as the subject of your email.

For a list of genealogical seminars, reunions and cemetery meetings, please check out Seminars & Events in Texas.
