John C.B. [#1281] Stidham was the son of Jeremiah "Jerry South" [#654] Stidham and Ellen (Davidson). John was a farmer in Breathitt Co., Kentucky and a very proud father in the photo. Baby Frank had on a very long dress, and it was said that baby dresses were so long then, it was not unusual for the proud mothers to climb up into the barn loft to hold such a dress down for measuring.
