- At long last - a map of the Eastern Townships of Quebec! The print is a little hard to read, and the county lines aren't shown very clearly, but those changed radically over the years anyway. I've tried to fix up the printing to make it more legible, but some of them I simply can't read. If you happen to know what some of these mystery townships are (or can correct some I've gotten wrong), please contact me.
- A Truax cousin was kind enough to send me a copy of a map of 1644 New Amsterdam, with Phillippe du Trieux's land marked. I've been having fun trying to reconcile this map with one of modern Manhattan, a task made easier once I realized just how far the shoreline has been extended in the past 350 years.
- I also have a map of the route taken by my great-uncle (and later my great-grandparents) in 1909 from Edmonton to Beaverlodge, Alberta. The story of this tremendous journey can be found under the notes for Garnet Truax
