Still Another Gone
Wm. L. SYPRET, Esq., died at his residence in Lebanon last
Monday morning at the advanced age of 82. Col. S was well-known throughout our
county and was universally recognized as an honest man and a good citizen. He
served with credit in the late war with England. He was one among the oldest
citizens and we believe the oldest member of the legal profession in our town,
he was not in active practice, having retired many years ago. We know there are
hosts of friends that lament his death and will ever love to keep his memory
green. May the sod rest lightly upon the old soldier.
