Virgil Prichard of Tucson, AZ, did most of the research on the Benjamin Prichard family, and the James Brantley Freeman Sr. and Jr. families. Some details for the first generation were added by Patty Jill Owen Compton of Nashville, TN.  There was also information furnished by Zella Prichard, Lebanon, TN, now deceased. All of the information on Sterling Brown Prichard and his descendants was furnished by Patty Jill Owen Compton. She is a direct descendant.  All of the information on Lucretia Eller Prichard Byers and her descendants was furnished by C. Renee Swicegood of Louisville, TN.  She a direct descendant.
