I LORENZO D. DOUGHTY have this day bargained and sold and do hereby
transfer and convey to WILLIAM YOUNG and his heirs and assigns forever
for the consideration of One Thousand Four Hundred dollars to me paid
a tract of land in the State of Tennessee, Wilson County District 12
on the waters of Dry fork of Round Lick Creek, being a part of a tract
of land Granted to JAMES DAVIDSON containing by estimation One Hundred
and Twenty Two acres 149 poles be the same more or less and bounded as
follows beginning on a Chinquepin Oak on a branch in H. Z. BROWN's
west boundary thence west one hundred and fifty four and a half poles to
white walnut, thence south 40 degrees W. fifty poles to a Sugartree, thence
south fifty five poles to stake in DAVID YOUNG's north boundary, thence east
with said boundary two hundred and thirty nine poles to stake DAVID YOUNG's
north west corner, thence north fifty seven and a half poles to Elm, thence
west fifty two poles to Stake, thence north thirty five poles to the
beginning. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same to the Said WILLIAM YOUNG that I
am lawfully seized of said land have a good right to convey it and that the
same is unencumbered. I do further covenant and bind myself, my heirs and
assigns, and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to the
Said land and every part thereof to the Said WILLIAM YOUNG, his heirs and
assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatever This 12th October
1852.

Clerk of the county court Said county of Wilson, LORENZO D. DOUGHTY, the
within named bargainer, with whom I am personally acquainted, and that he
acknowledged that he executed the within and for the purposes therein
contained. Witness my hand at office this 1st day of November A.D. 1852
