Many prominent family names will be recognized in this school print of 70 years ago, when Professor H. E. Woodside and his sister, Miss Louise Woodside, standing center, conducted classes in a building which was located on the hill on West Hollis Street near the present Russ Turman residence. All could not be identified, and a question mark has been left to indicate this. Front row, left to right are Dora Casteel, Wilmoth Casteel, Jeffie Young, Frankie Boyd, Pearl Springer, Iva Boyd, Lucille Taylor, Monica Taylor, and Roy Haggard. Second row, left to right are ?, Minnie Dean, ? , Charlie Young, ? , Luther Greeson, Lige Turman, John Helton, Max Springer, Fred Cole, ? , Mack Greeson, and Herman Greeson. Third row, left to right are Esther Rutledge, Lydia Old, Blanche Casteel, Grace Barnett and Price Old. Fourth row, left to right are ? , James L. Morrow, Charlie Helton, Ora Gallaher, Anna Boyd, Jess Taylor, Nona Haggard, Marcella Belew, Minnie Greson, Keady Smith and Edith Haggard. Fifth row are Walter Young, Clyde Boyd, Dee Turman, Maisie Bedford, Cora Old, Corinne Merriman, Ella Huckaba, Sallie Turman, Sammie Morris, Mamie Walls and Haughtie Walls. Sixth row are Merida Huckaba, Frankie Cole and Lillie Old, Seventh row are Joe Helton, Dave Merriman, Ethel Jackson, Pearl Taylor, Charlie Belew, Cora Greeson, Guy Frazier and Will Lawson.
