     "We are indebted to Mrs. Zella Butler Morgan of Costa Mesa, Calif. for his old photograph of Butler's Creek School in 1905. Mrs. Morgan's father was Frank Butler. Identified for us front row left to right are Mamie Thompson, Mrs. Polly Ann Thompson, Leona Daniel, Jane Daniel, Sarah Butler, Fannie Daniel, Frencher Gambrel, Willey Gambrel, Milly Gambrel, Eli Thompson and James Brewer, teacher. Second row, Icy Thompson, Zella Butler, Mattie Daniel, Ollie Thompson, Fannie Thompson, Polly Thompson, Joe Butler, Louis Thompson, Mat Miller, Joe Daniel, and Grover Miller.
