Matthew Josiah Sims House on Dry Creek

The Matthew Josiah Sims House
Dry Creek

The Matthew Josiah Sims house was built as a double log
house with a dogtrot between the rooms. It was probably built
between 1836 and 1840. It was weatherboarded sometime after
the Civil War. The old house burned in the 1980's.
