Sumner County January 1st 1791. Received of Col. Isaac Bledsoe two hundred pounds Virginia money in full payment for two negroes, viz: a man named Ja_ _ about nineteen years of age, and a negro girl named Pol about eleven years of age, which man and girl I promise to warrant, and forever defend against the lawful claim or claims of any person or persons whatever. Given under my hand and seal the day and year above written
