My great grandfather was Roy Clinton Wade 1902-1985, he was born in the town of Franklin, Simpson County, Kentucky, and he served as the Gallatin,TN sheriff from 1963-1968. Those dates might be a little off. I don't know when this photo was taken, but he's standing on the left while his deputy Billy Aiken (I believe that was his name) uncovers from a hidden whole some bottles of "untaxed" whiskey.
