Note from the transcribers - Nathaniel Crenshaw is in the 1850 Census for Sumner Co. TN District #14. He was the son of David Crenshaw and Francis Thompson, according to the records of Mrs. Malcolm Box. Mrs. Stercula's work on the Thompsons indicates that Nathaniel was the son of Charles Crenshaw and Francis Thompson.
